Why Trump isn’t getting the credit he thinks he deserves
President Donald Trump is probably right: he doesn’t get due credit for the volume of achievements he’s stacked up during a tumultuous political year.
It is highly unusual that PDT ever gets a pat on the head for any of his accomplishments since he has been in office; especially from one of the enemy.
It is a foregone conclusion that PDT’s biggest turn-off to his detractors is his arrogance and never ending desire to be complimented. There is no one that can deny PDT loves himself immensely, thrives on compliments and gets very pissed off at criticism.
There is an old saying PDT should consider; if you are good, not need to blow your horn, someone else will do it for you.
There are some people in the world that have everything a person could ever want; except self confidence; they constantly need reassurance. According to some medical opinions, this syndrome is a form of OCD.
One the surface, they put on the ACT, but deep down inside they are always seeking the pat on the head, that compliment.
When Trump the citizen was running for the Big Chair, it drove me nuts to hear him continually expounding on how much he was worth and how successful he was. Since he won the election, he has toned it down somewhat but not enough.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with blowing your own horn on occasions; when it becomes an obsession, like in the case of PDT, enough is enough.
I certainly would not want to change PDT’s personality completely; his personality is what got him where he is. What I would like to see him do is; take it down a notch or two. With a couple of simple alterations he could make that would make his presidency so much easier, so much more productive and it would help immensely keeping the the wolves from nipping at his heels.
