Obama seeks hike in post-presidency payments:

FOLKS; these politicians take the American public for a bunch of fools. It is one gigantic charade with politicians. All the arguing – bickering and name calling is all an act with these stooges. In the long run they all look out for one another and shaft the US citizens big time.

One my pet bitches is; these pampered people have the luxury to vote in all of their own raises and benefits. How sweet is that????????????

One of Obama’s parting gifts to himself and his ex-chumlee’s in the FY 2017 budget will be a $3,865,000 appropriations for expenditures for former Presidents, an increase of $588,000 (17.9%) from the FY 2016 appropriation level. The increase in requested appropriations for FY 2017 anticipates President Barack Obama’s transition from incumbent to former President. We wouldn’t want these guys to miss any meals.

When the economy is good  for the masses, no one really cares if they are getting screwed a little by the politicians. As bad a things  are in this country for some people, these politicians have balls bigger than a pawn shop when they pull stunts like this.

The retirement benefits received by former Presidents include a pension, Secret Service protection, and reimbursements for staff, travel, mail, and office expenses. The Presidential pension is not a fixed amount, rather it matches the current salary of Cabinet members (or Executive Level I personnel), which is $191,300/year as of March, 2008 (but see “Salary Info” section above for advice on how to track increases in this figure). 191,300.00 a year for life for anyone is a good piece of change.

Sounds like the same scam the Clinton’s have going with their NON-PROFIT thing. They do not collect a salary BUT they get free travel – food – lodging – all expenses paid when they travel and a host of of the bennies.

Why in the hell would anyone need a salary if they are constantly traveling and avail themselves of all of these benefits?  Makes me want to regurgitate.

I wouldn’t expect any different from Obama. I will guarantee; before he leaves office there are going to be a landslide of other changes he is going to make and most will not be of any advantage to the tax paying citizens.

There is one particular thing that I have alluded to many times, that to me is despicable. About a year or two ago when the government was going to shut down, because the political parasites did not do their job and pass a budget; THEY PASSED A BILL IN LESS THAN A DAY TO MAKE INSURE THEIR PAY CHECKS WOULD NOT BE STOPPED IN THE EVENT THE SHUT DOWN DID HAPPEN.  That is one I will never get over.

Another old say is;  hurrah for me and —- you. 

Do the people we elect and put on easy street for the rest of their lives really give a —- about the people that put them in office??? I will leave that difficult question up to you.
