The flood gates have opened

Veteran journalist Mark Halperin sexually harassed women while he was in a powerful position at ABC News, according to five women who shared their previously undisclosed accounts with CNN and others who did not experience the alleged harassment personally, but were aware of it.

“During this period, I did pursue relationships with women that I worked with, including some junior to me,” Halperin said in a statement to CNN Wednesday night. “I now understand from these accounts that my behavior was inappropriate and caused others pain. For that, I am deeply sorry and I apologize. Under the circumstances, I’m going to take a step back from my day-to-day work while I properly deal with this situation.”

This power-broker, sex scandal epidemic that has enveloped this country only seems to be picking up speed.  Day by day there are more reports of other degenerate pigs that let their other head do their thinking for them.

Many of these pigs are NOT light-weights. They are very successful, high paid executives or owners of corporation that at one time were well respected.  Many of them are wolves in sheep’s clothing, hobnobbing and rubbing elbows with the elite of the country, hiding in plain sight.

In the last several months, since the most recent can of worms has been opened, I see may more sexual complaints coming in from women that were afraid to come forward for fear of retaliation OR some gold-diggers that are looking for a free payday.  I would think the later is minimal.

What was once thought to be a few isolated incidents, it has ballooned into a full blown crisis.

Sexual harassment and abuse is nothing new, it has been going on ever since Adam made his move on Eve and she capitulated. As we all should know, the Apple Story was contrived and cleaned up for the kids.

There are situations and conditions in our lives that there is no answer or resolution to.  With all of the media attention, one would think that the rogue cops would start behaving themselves, for no other reason than there is a camera on them.  Have they? Hell no.

One would think that these horny broads and oversexed fools that call themselves teachers and coaches would back off of having sexual relations with their students, Have they? Hell no. 

The accounts of inappropriate or criminal behavior is too long to list.  When they get caught, the fools/criminals that crossed the line, the sentences leveled at them, if  given appropriately, should serve as an example for  others on what not to do. Does it? Hell no.

It is a combination of supremacy, power, control for some people that think they will never get caught, they are too ignorant to know better, to weak to control themselves and or a combination of all of the above.

The only solution I would have is to make an example out of the perpetrators.  Authorities have to try and send a message by the sentences they had down to anyone that may be afflicted by the same ignorance and is considering crossing the line.

Will this misbehaving and criminal activity ever stop? If the proper punishments are put into place, it may slow it down, but stop. We all know the answer to that. Hell no.
