According to his 2022 financial disclosures filed this month, Kaine reported purchasing a residential property worth up to $1 million in March 2022. A Fox News Digital review of local real estate filings showed that Kaine and his wife Anne Holton paid $895,000 for a multi-unit condominium in Richmond, Virginia, from Dominion deputy general counsel George Marget on March 8, 2022.
It is no wonder the thieving bastards spend 10 or $20 million on an election campaign. If elected, they make around 175,00.00$. The perks/freebees are so phenomenal they don’t even need a paycheck. When elected they walked in the front door of their office with holes in their shoes, two months later they walk out the back door to a waiting chauffeur-driven limousine. How sweet is that??
What privileges do senators and congressmen have Joe and Jane Blow do not?
They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.
Members of Congress receive annual allowances that cover the personal expenses of doing their job. This includes expenses for their office, travel, goods and services. The allowance provides additional funds added to the base salary for the use of job-related purchases and costs.
Those are just the tip of the icepick. We might as well say they are bulletproof.
This little titbit is probably the most profitable and beneficial perk of them all. It is illegal for an ordinary citizen to engage in (insider trading) this type of activity but it is legal for the politicians. Will someone, please explain that shit to me. I said this so many times, the people that write the laws are the biggest offenders.
Insider Trading Isn’t Illegal if You Are a Member of Congress

This is not just limited to the stock market. Let us be hypothetical and say, in the very near future a major freeway or shopping mall is going to be built in a particular part of town that happens to be in the ghetto. The politician gets a heads-up on the pending construction and buys up all the surrounding land at an outrageously low number where the construction will be taking place. The profits they will make on the inside information are astronomical.
This applies to so many other underhanded transactions it is beyond belief. Walk in the front door with holes in their shoes, walk out the back door to an awaiting chauffeur limousine waiting for them to be taken to their mansion to the sky, so the can look down at the little people.
I absolutely do not have a problem with people being very successful and making a bushel load of money. My objection to this whore deal is; what is good for the goose should be good for the gander. What is illegal for the common citizen should be should also be illegal for the politicians.
Don’t try to tell me that Kaine did not receive special consideration with the purchase of that home. Possibly there was some cash we don’t know about that slid under the table to sweeten the transaction.
Once again I will repeat, the bastards that write the laws are the biggest defenders.
If the politicians and the lawmakers in this country had to live by the same ground rules and regulations as the average citizen, getting the same benefits, insurance, retirement benefits, hospitalization, etc, we would see an entirely different way that the country would operate.
If at least they would earn their keep by doing their job properly, I would not be as aggravated with their performance.

If it doesn’t it should. This type of underhanded/clandestine activity goes on on a daily basis.
Put this one in your pipe and smoke it :

In 2017, Congress was in session for 145 days out of 261 work days. That’s far less time than the average American worker puts in at the office.
If they are forced to work a little OT to keep the doors open, if the government is getting ready to shut down because of their incompetence, they cry like a baby with a dirty diaper.
God-damn it, who stole my cue cards???
They are absolutely pathetic.
So I have no problem with dubbing them, THE LEGAL THIEVES.
A vast majority of the problems facing the United States are due to the incompetence of its leaders. Needless to say, they are richly rewarded for their legal abuse of the law and are
