CDC director recommends COVID-19 booster for younger at-risk workers, defying advisory panel
The CDC panel voted 9-6 against the recommendation
U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky late Thursday endorsed the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine booster shot for younger at-risk workers, which is seen as a rare break from the agency’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices panel.
The panel had recommended the booster for Americans 65 and older and for those over 50 with underlying medical conditions, but voted against the younger at-risk worker recommendation.
Excerpt from, yesterdays post:
The problem with our ongoing situation is; for the most part, the fear factor changes everyday with all the supposed authorities/experts throwing in their 2 cents. For the most part, the actions taken to send Mr. Corona packing have been a guessing game based on how other viruses were handled.
EXPERTS SAY: Yes we do – no we don’t – we may have to – probably not – that is what they say – it is possible – it may come to that – that is he way I see it – that is what JAWS (Fauci in Italian) said. GMAFB guys , I have a migraine.
Once again; who do we believe or who not to believe. I would think by now, the so-called experts would have a meeting, put their heads together, come to one final solution or direction to go and call it a day.
I guess my recommendation is too simple for the super-intelligent, high brow experts to understand.
