Words of wisdom – pay attention

The quote below was sent to me by another Jar Head (PG) I wanted to share.

I have been preaching exactly the same thing for years. To start with, if possible, we should try to prevent any type of military confrontations.  If we are pulled into a situation it should be our mission to fight a war like a war should be fought and that is to win by any means necessary.

The Will to Win

Unless you are willing to be as unreasonable and as brutal, as your enemy, do not engage him in a conflict — because he will win. This old leatherneck says it better.

Quote from a WWII veteran overhearing someone say that `You can’t bomb an ideology.”:

“The hell you can’t, because we did it. These Muslims are no different than the [Imperial] Japanese. The Japs had their suicide bombers too. And we stopped them. What it takes is the resolve and will to use a level of brutality and violence that your generations can’t stomach. And until you can, this shit won’t stop. It took us on the beaches with bullets, clearing out caves with flame throwers, and men like LeMay burning down their cities, killing people by the tens of thousands. And then it took 2 atom bombs on top of it. Plus we had to bomb the shit out of German cities to get them to quit fighting. But, if that was what it took to win, we were willing to do it. Until you are willing to do the same…well I hope you enjoy this shit, because it ain’t going to stop!” Back then, we had leadership, resolve, resources and determination. Today we’re afraid to hurt people’s feelings….and worry about which bathroom to piss in!!!

The old times hit the nail on the head. Today we’re afraid to hurt people’s feelings….and worry about which bathroom to piss in!!!

Our country has become so PC in the last few years it is pathetic. I wonder what one of the PC-ers would do if a terrorists had a knife to their throat ready to saw their head off. Do they really think that a PC pathetic plea would get them out of them out of harms way? Wake up and smell the napalm.

                                                              This is reality folks.

Throughout history, there has NEVER been any country or leader/warrior that has successfully won a war by using a PC liberal mentality. Is it a shame to say but it is the cold hard truth?

As the old timer said: What it takes is the resolve and will to use a level of brutality and violence that your generations can’t stomach.  We have to speak or act in a language that our enemies understand because they mistake our kindness for stupidity.

The fact of the matter is, a good percentage of the population in the USA has fallen into the PC category who do not have the stomach to do whatever is necessary to win.

I am sure that the new appointees PEDT has given the tap to will definitely have a different MO from the pacifists we now have running the military.

There are millions out there that believe; people with a mentality like mine are a bunch of sadistic war mongers. That is absolutely the furthest from the truth. The people that think along the lines I do are realists.

Always remember the old cliche: “The weak die out and the strong will survive,

Let us hope we never have to engage the enemy (a little late for that); if we are forced to, fight a war like a war, to win by any means and at all cost necessary, putting an end to it as soon as possible.

There is a lot of wisdom in what this Old Jar Head said.

A tribute to all that have served and are now serving in all of the armed forces in the USA.

They should have grown up where you and I did and they would have the guts to fight to win! We took our kids out of the city and into the country to have a better life but it was a big mistake, it made them soft! Too late now to undo that.

Some of us younger generation know exactly what you are talking about. I know with my military training and history there are many who would say I am a warmonger. That is PC/political partisan BS because if push comes to shove and we go to war again, I and my buddies know who will be shedding blood and it damn sure won’t be 90% of the bleeding hearts who want to give everyone a hug! Going to war should be scary as hell and damn well better be the last option, because once you break the glass and tell real men to go forth and kill thine enemies; don’t be surprised when they do so by very non-polite, shocking and even horrific ways! This is what war is and should be. War is people killing people with a free pass. Each side will try to beat the ever living sh!t out of the other side and it should be gruesome, ugly, detestable and the ultimate last resort. Once we go to war, peace is not won in further negotiations, that just leads to a ceasefire aka Korea; where we have spent countless money and lives in a 60 year stalemate. Ultimately, true and lasting peace is won by beating the other side so badly that they throw down their weapons, refuse to fight anymore and plead for peace on bended knees!

  5. Joe (USMC Ret) says:

The atom bombs led to the end of the war not because the Japanese people had a change of heart and dropped their ideology in response to those bombs – it was the because the Japanese leadership gave a darn about their people.

It was the Japanese leadership that surrendered, not the Japanese people.

You will not get the same from the radical Islam leadership. They view their followers as expendable so no amount of death among them will sway the leadership. You could target the leadership and once they are gone they will be quickly replaced by others with the same psychotic viewpoint…

This guy comparing the current war against Radical Islam Terrorists with the Japanese in WWII is a bulls*** “feel-good-about-myself” rant that has no basis in reality.
