NYC MARINE VETERAN CHARGED IN DEATH OF MAN ‘MAKING THREATS AND SCARING PASSENGERS’: PROSECUTORS

I cannot help but wonder if Daniel Penny would have stood by and it allows this homeless bum to continue to harass people, possibly harm someone, maybe even kill someone, would the authorities charge him with neglect not taking any action?

If more private citizens would step up to the plate to help their fellow men in a time of need, I think the world would be a much safer place to live in.

Reversing this situation slightly, and assuming that Penny arbitrarily and deliberately walked up to this bum for no good reason that was not harassing anyone, put him in a chokehold, and kill him, then I would agree he should be prosecuted. That is not the case.

In my opinion, Daniel Penny should be given the Man of the Year award a free subway pass for life for assisting others in a very dangerous situation.

This just goes to show us the ignorance of how our justice system is out of wack. Here we have a man coming to the aid of his fellow human beings and he is being prosecuted for it, On the other hand, we have thousands of criminals every day being arrested for crimes they have committed, walking in the front door and five minutes later walking out the back door, laughing at the system. Where is the logic or common sense that is supposed to be governing our society?? There is none.

What if the prosecutor’s wife or kids were some of the people that were being harassed/threatened by this bum if they would have a different take on it??

Only takes a split second to slice somebody’s throat.
