Tennessee sheriff opens new investigation into two deputies after Tyre Nichols bodycam video release
What a shame, yet another death caused a group of out-of-control cops. If they were white, the cities would be a blaze already.
Tyre Nichols, 29, was severely beaten during a traffic stop on Jan. 7 according to bodycam footage, dying three days – on top of the five that beat this kid so severely he died later, all the while there were several cops witnesses to this beating death and did not know about it.
I did more than a dozen posts suggesting the only way to overcome this police brutality is for the police to police the police.
Cops nowadays have to realize this is not the old West anymore where the BLUE CODE rules. This is a different day and age and requires different methodologies for being a good cop.
Being that the majority of the time cops travel in pairs, it is a necessity, in order to make sure none of them go haywire that one cop keeps the other cop honest. A crime is a crime is a crime regardless of who commits it.
The blue wall of silence, also blue code and blue shield, are terms used to denote the supposed informal code of silence among police officers in the United States not to report on a colleague’s errors, misconducts, or crimes, especially as related to police brutality in the United States.
I would suggest that as of this very day, the elimination of this blue code of silence as we now know it, now and into the future. I am not suggesting that the cops do not have to disregard their loyalty to their fellow officers, I am just suggesting that they prevent each other from committing a crime. I would think by now seeing all the death and destruction that has arisen from their misconduct, they would not be as foolish/stupid as they are.
A new code should be drawn up making it mandatory for all existing and new recruits to sign. If they refuse to take the new Oath, they will be immediately dismissed or not hired. What can be an easier and better solution than the police to police the police??
I have never heard of anyone offering this suggestion except me to get this issue under control. I am sure will not completely eliminate police brutality, I can guarantee it will cut it by 80%.
I think it is about time that all the politicians and police organizations in this country ALL start reading the Goomba Gazette and start putting some common sense into their activities and conduct control.
Folks, it is very simple, if you want to take your head out of your ass for five minutes, look around and see just how effective your existing measures have been working. On a scale from one to 10, I give you a minus 20.
