This morning I received an email from a friend of mine R D. I thought I would pass on my sentiments too all of the faithful patriotic readers of the Goomba Gazette.

My friend’s email was quite extensive; the purpose behind it was to emphasize patriotism and or the lack of it. These are my comments and observations.

Unfortunately patriotism in the United States has done everything but disappeared completely.

I would hate to see the traffic jam at the Canadian and Mexican borders would look like if the draft was ever resurrected. 

In part I blame the government. It should have been mandatory for men and women alike to serve at least two years in the military. That in itself would fortify our patriotism and instill some much needed discipline in these out of control kids. 

Let’s be realistic/honest; I don’t know what other people’s observations are, but from what I can determine the progressives, far lefters, socialists, are getting into the young people’s heads by brainwashing and turning them against the government. When the kids are completely brainwashed and led around like bull with a ring through his nose, that is when the scumbags will have achieve their goal of complete control.

Next I blame the families. I have always maintained, if your parents are ugly, you will be too. When we live with dogs we always catch fleas. When we live with a cripple, we eventually started limping. 

You get the picture. If good foundation and examples are not set at home; that is 3/4 of a battle lost. Kids always learn by emulating the people they admire. There sure are some piss poor role models out there, starting at the very top.

Las Vegas would have not even taken this bet that these two stumblebums would some day become the president and the first lady of the United States and some of the worst role models any kid could have.

Speaking of the Canadian border; I understand Wild Bill was first in line. That is another pet peeve of mine. No person should ever be allowed to serve as the commander in chief if they had not served in the military. Yesssssssssssss; that includes The Donald.

Happy up and coming Memorial Day to all of the patriots out there. To the parasites, sooner or later you are going to reap what you have sown.
