Trump and Pence hold dueling rallies for Perdue and Kemp on eve of Georgia’s bitter GOP gubernatorial primary
Pence’s appearance on behalf of Kemp is another sign he’s putting more daylight between himself and Trump

They may both represent the same party, but they are definitely on different sides of the fence.
I personally do not think that either man had much respect for the other while Trump was president. It appeared to me that Pence was afraid of Trump, Trump knew it and took advantage of it. Trump is such an egomaniac, he does not want to stay share the spotlight with anyone.
I remember one of the first interviews that Pence gave while Trump was running for office. The reporter AXED Pence; if Donald Trump did something that was improper, out of line, would you feel comfortable in correcting him. Pence stood there not knowing how to answer the reporter. He eventually said, naturally. It was very apparent that The Donald was not pleased with his answer. Pence was caught in the middle, what other answer could he have given??
The two men getting together in politics, can be compared to an old style arranged marriage; neither side was crazy about the other, but the move was done for political/financial/power purposes. Not many were really satisfied with the choice, including Trump, but Trump needed someone that was the direct opposite of him to gather votes from the more passive voters.
I would have to conclude; if the Donald does run in 2024, Mike Pence will not be standing next to him.
Who I would like to see shoulder to shoulder with Trump is Gabby Tulis. Forget about protocol, cross the lines by having a republican president and the democratic vice president. Political parties don’t mean shit anymore, they are just the label.
Gabby would be the shot in the arm the USA needs. She is not a token, she is the real thing.
You want credentials??? She has them. She makes 90% the male population look insignificant.

As a matter of fact; if this distinguished lady ran for president against Trump, I may just vote for her.
Mik-e Boy; better unpack your suitcase, you are not going anywhere!!

Would be an interesting ticket. She’d be a stronger candidate of VP than any presidential candidate the Dems would toss in ring.
