Locke’s death was the latest in a string of controversial incidents in Minnesota in recent years involving confrontations between Black men and police.
The latest shooting happened early Wednesday inside an apartment as police conducted a raid in connection with a murder in St. Paul, FOX 9 of Minneapolis reported.

“There’s great officers that are White. There’s great officers, period,” he said. “But they have bad seeds. They have the bad seeds and those bad seeds are the ones who don’t need to be in our communities.”
What a tough pill to swallow for a father to go to the defense of a cop/cops that shot and killed his son; especially with all the other questionable shootings and killings between the cops and the black community in the country.
Hopefully this incident will come to a fair and square conclusion as where the fault lies. That is the only way these situations can be resolved without any further bloodshed or rioting. Will incidents like this ever die out completely?? Absolutely not, the best we can hope for is a controlled situation at all sides.
The racial tension is tearing this country apart and our politicians are not doing much to try to put the flames out. They’re too worried about their pension plan and where they are going on their next vacation.
Hopefully this incident will come to a fair and square conclusion using level heads as to where the fault lies. That is the only way these situations can be resolved without any further bloodshed or rioting.
Amir Locke, is one hell of a man. He probably new then his kid was a badass and may have been at the wrong place at the wrong time. The position he took is not a stand most people would take on under the circumstances.
Hats off to the gentleman and my deepest respect. I am deeply sorry for his loss. Son is a son whether he’s a thug or stellar citizen.
