Question on LINKEDIN by Sharon Salzberg
As I go through all kinds of feelings and experiences in my journey through life – delight, surprise, chagrin, dismay – I hold this question as a guiding light: “What do I really need right now to be happy?”
In my humble opinion (not really humble)
Short and sweet; being our own person and not expected to live up to anyone else is expectations.
We are the only person we have to satisfy in life.
As long as we could look in the mirror and like the reflection that is coming back, with an honest and sincere heart, that is all that should matter.
If we don’t like what we see, be person enough to admit it and do something about it. If what you see does not bother you; keep on marching down that same old dirty road and quit complaining.
Problems do NOT disappear on their own. It takes a lot of hard work, honesty and Intestinal fortitude to overcome our demons.
Pretending they do not exist is not the solution.
By all means, be honest with yourself.
That is my take on it Sharon: in my humble opinion.
