In Canada, the price for Netflix’s standard plan also went up $1.50 to $16.49 Canadian. The premium plan went up $2 to $20.99 Canadian. Its basic plan was unchanged.
It is nothing but pure greed the way many of these corporations operate. They start out by making their product very appealing and cost efficient to the public. As soon as they have all the suckers hooked and basically addicted, they started jacking up the prices dollar at a time, very clandestinely, like thieves in the night.
This can be viewed in a few different ways. It’s a practice that could be called good business for the owners, BUTT to the consumer, it can be considered thievery. I will go door number 2.
When is enough enough for these money mongering bitches????
In situations like this, the only truly effective way to get to them is thru their pocketbook by boycotting them. But by now, most of the population is hooked and cannot do without it.

According to this article, they are not putting in for a modest increase, they are totally #raping their subscribers.
All of the #thieving companies that operate like this; when people sign up for their subscription; the owners should include a case of #Vaseline with each deal; That way it doesn’t hurt the consumer as bad when they are getting #screwed

Many of companies that were initially streaming there programs for free are now charging a monthly fee. To mention a few.
Service | Cost | Original Content |
---|---|---|
Apple TV+ | $4.99/month; $49.99/year | Yes |
Amazon Prime Video | $8.99/month or $12.99/month as part of Prime subscription | Yes |
Hulu | $5.99/month; Disney+ and ESPN+, $12.99/month; Live TV, $54.99/month; add on premium channels, $9.99/month and up | Yes |
Folks; it has always been about the money; where the shit slides down the hill and the general consumer is on the bottom. Unfortunately I don’t ever see that changing.
I think I’m gonna go back to listening to the Inner Sanctum, The Lone Ranger and the Green Hornet on the radio at night for free and smash that off button on the tube.
