Betty White was one of the old school, stand up patriots of this country. For the lack of a better term (SHE WAS A DYING BREED). It is too bad that she did not make the C note.

It is very sad to say that patriotism in the United States is about as low as ever been. I think the country would be hard pressed to round up enough recruits to adequately defend this country if and when the shit hits the fan. I don’t know what the percentage of cowardly draft dodgers there are living in the lap of luxury, but I will guarantee it is extremely high.

When I was coming up, it was an honor and of duty for young men and some women to enlist in the military to serve, and defend their country. That is not the case today.

Many of them want to sit at the big buffet table of freedom; stuff their face with all of the amenities and freebees handed out by the government. When the bill/check comes and it’s time to pay up and do their part, they all disappear like a Chinese fire drill.

One thing I do know; GOD HATES COWARDS.

RIP Betty – you were a great lady and a super example of what a patriot should be.
