Marine Corps plan calls for some future Marines to skip boot camp

Deserving of a very big AUSM!!
Why not let prospective doctors skip medical school??? What is the matter with this fool???
Marine Corps Commandant Gen. David Berger wants “exceptionally talented Americans” to be able to bypass the Corps’ traditional rites of passage and begin serving “at a rank appropriate to their education, experience, and ability.”
There is no way that I would ever consider anyone that took the short cut this ignorant general is suggesting, a real Marine.
The abuse – ass kicking and difficult training associated with the boot camp is a very big part of what makes a Jar Head a Jar Head. Anyone that disagrees has not gone through the mill and came out a better person.
I would like to take a poll of all that have made it through boot camp, to see what their opinion is. What the Berger is doing can be compared to what the far-lefters that are doing, turning the USA into a weaker, undisciplined country.
If you can not take the heat; stay out of the kitchen.
Why does this fool Berger think that boot camp and it’s harshness is not one of the primary reason Marines are Marines. I wonder how he made it to the rank he is?? Gotta be a political guy!!
“We Make Marines,” proclaims a banner at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, summarizing the service’s ethos that recruits have to prove they have the mental and physical toughness to serve in the Corps by surviving boot camp. By the time men and women receive their Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, they have proven that they have the physical and mental toughness to earn the coveted title of “Marine.”
This guy really got me pissed off!! No Semper Fi for the general. Get down and give me 20 BOY!!
The next thing this guy will suggest are PINK uniforms.
The general is like the phony broad that buys a Fugazi because she can not afford the real thing.
Either you are 100% or you are nothing, ZERO.
