Pelosi says capitalism hasn’t served US economy ‘as well as it should’
Pelosi said public officials should pursue improvements to the system to address inequality
Nasty Nan: “In America, capitalism is our system, it is our economic system, but it has not served our economy as well as it should,” Pelosi said during a virtual event with think tank Chatham House. “And so, what we want to do is not depart from that, but to improve it and to make sure that it serves us.”
We can start by clipping a few million out of her fat bank account if she is so determined to even the PAYING FIELD.
Claim: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has amassed more than $196 million in wealth working on a congressional salary of $193,400 – not bad for a everyday working girl. Must be getting a very good interest rate in her bank.
This is the primary reason sooooo many people want to be politicians. The BENNIES are tremendous.
Jul 8, 2021 — Paul Pelosi made $5.3 million after buying shares in Nasdaq giants ahead of a vote on a weak antitrust bill meant to curb their power.
Being that they have access (not supposed to) to inside information, they can make their moves at the right time and make a healthy fortune.
I can’t help BUTT wonder just how much of N N’s fortune she gives away to the under privileged??
N N: “You cannot have a system where the success of some springs from the exploitation of the workers and springs from the exploitation of the environment and the rest, and we have to correct that,” Pelosi added. I would suggest since she is in such a benevolent mood, she should start leading the GIVE-AWAY parade.
It must be nice to have it both ways. She and Leona Helmsley are cut from the same cloth: Not exactly, BUTT close. Leona Helmsley will always be remembered for one of the most arrogant statements ever uttered: “We don’t pay taxes. Only the little people pay taxes.” A touching sentiment from the New York hotel tycoon widely dubbed the “Queen of Mean” but not one shared by a jury of her peers. Nan will be remembered as the NAN of NASTY.
I still say N N must have caught a lot of people in compromising positions at one time or another in order for her to maintain her position all these years.
Just like J Edgar. This slick dude kept a diary on all the presidents he served under and they were all fearful he would drop a quarter on them if they ever F-ed with him.
He retained his post, however, until his death at age 77, by which time he had been the FBI’s chief for 48 years and had served 8 presidents and 18 attorneys …
Talk about a dirty game; it does not get any dicer or worse than politics.
