Phylicia Rashad, who played Bill Cosby’s wife Clair Huxtable on “The Cosby Show,” is apologizing to Howard University students and parents after applauding the Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court decision to overturn Cosby’s sex assault conviction
Rashad, who was recently named Howard University’s Dean of Fine Arts, sent a letter Friday to students and parents to give a “sincere apology” for her tweet that “caused so much hurt,” according to reports from CNN and NBC’s “Today.”
“My remarks were in no way directed towards survivors of sexual assault. I vehemently oppose sexual violence, find no excuse for such behavior, and I know that Howard University has a zero-tolerance policy toward interpersonal violence,” she wrote.
That seems to be a major problem with people opening the mouth before thinking things through thoroughly. This is one of the issues/bad habits PDT had/has that has gotten him in a lot of hot water.
Is an apology really sincere; ORRR do the offenders see the damage it has done to their image and decide to make a 360 for survival. In most cases I will chose door # 2.
Many things that separates Donald Trump from the rest of the pack; one of them is; right – wrong – or indifferent, he will never apologize. Is that a smart thing?? It depends on who we talk to. Not as far as I am concerned.
The sooner ALL people separate there personal feelings from siding with people that are found guilty, only because of their race, the better off this planet will be. It is disgraceful and disrespectful to the victims for these lunatics’ to side with/sympathize with the criminals, no matter who to they are.
Who in their right mind would celebrate Orenthal and Huxtible except a demented, cold heart person?? Only a bunch for idiots.
Gotta to learn how to fair may la bouche.
