Major U.S. diocese becomes largest to file for bankruptcy after 200 sexual abuse lawsuits

40 – 50 – 60 years ago, which in the big scheme of time is not too long ago; did we ever think it would be possible that the largest religion in the world and one of the most respected would ever wind-up in bankruptcy as a result of having to pay off people that their priest molested?? Tell me this world is not going to hell in a handbasket.
Did the same conditions exist then as they do now. Possibly, but at a much lower level and was almost never heard of. Promiscuity – drugs – lack of supervision and disciplinary actions are what made these action flourish.
Who in the HELL can anyone trust in this pathetic world we live in?? I used to preach constantly to all my students; DO NOT TRUST ANYONE – TRUST IS EARNED NOT A GIVEN.
All the people that were held in such high esteem years back; priest – doctors – lawyers – teachers – colleges – coaches – scout leaders – day care worker — politicians – cops, etc; today very few of them, if any are now trustworthy.
What makes these deplorable situation even worse; the fools that covered up for the freaks. I have concluded, the enablers are as bad and possible worse than the perps. If the freaks would have been exposed earlier in their crimes, it would have cut future incidents down by 95%.
What in this world is supposed to be most sacred to us but the kids, but we have these monstrous bastards using them for their perverted desires. May they all rot in hell.

What was this bastards penalty? They exiled him to Ireland with full pension for the rest of his miserable days. You read it right, over 200 deaf kids that went to this special school because they were handicapped. .
What really surprises me are the number of fools that continue to financially support the religions and other entities knowing the circumstances. They all should go bankrupt. What have they done for you lately??
