USA TODAY: Survey: Americans more worried about opening too fast than too slow
This is probably the most #critical/potentially costly, in terms of $$$$ and human lives decision the United States has ever had to make.
Without a doubt; #reopening is the #greatest example of, you’re damned if you do and your damned if you don’t.
No one can really say with any certainty what the outcome is going to be or how it’s going to play out.
In my opinion; the consensus/logic of the people holding the #purse-strings is; they are standing at the crap table and rolling the dice, hoping they do not crap out.
They are willing to take the chance of infecting more people to keep the economy going. I don’t know if they have a choice.
That is all well and good; but if this reopening backfires, there may be no economy to be concerned about.
On the other side of the coin, if their strategy does work out favorably, and saves the economy of the USA; the Big Wigs will have rolled a 7 or an 11.
As my cousin’s in WVA say; the country and the world is between a rock and a hard place.
Time will tell.
