Could the #coronavirus outbreak in #China impact the 2020 #Tokyo #Olympics?
Before this very #deadly, #nasty virus showed it’s ugly head; Japan had the #clean-up of the nuclear power plant explosion to worry about. Now the #coronavirus most probably WILL have a negative effect on the Olympics; making it a #Double #Whammy.
For starters, just like most governments; in time of crisis they #down-play the #severity of the situation not to look bad. That is exactly what Japan has done with the Fulushima power plant explosion clean-up. They are trying to give the appearance that all is well in the #Land-of-Chop-Sticks as far as the #contamination goes, BUTT that is the furthest thing from the truth. It is like a lady putting makeup over her #unwashed face to try and #camouflage what she really looks like. The real deal is below the surface.

I watched a segment on #60-Minutes of the #Fagazi (phony) clean up all for show and tell. This is what some government do best; try to hide the reality of some #deadly #situations. While it is in the best interest of everyone concerned, to come clean as soon as possible; to #nip-it-in-the-bud and #prevent further damage.
So should Japan be worried about the coronavirus?? Absolutely yes. Should Japan be up front with the world and come clean about the conditions of Fukushima, absolutely double yes.
One of the most likely dangers to the people of Japan, as well as the rest of the world; there is great possibility that another massive explosion because the last blast is still boiling. Japan is dumping billions of gallons of sea water daily on the inferno to keep it cool, but have not been able to put out the fires. Serious business.
To put it in a nut shell; Japanese people are living on a #Man #Made #volcano that will/may blow at any times. My advice to them and the rest of the world; cancel the #Olympics and set in up in a safer place.
This is not the time to be worried about #saving-face.
What does saving face mean? The concept is a core social value in #Asian #cultures, among others. The meaning has remained stable across time. Saving Face signifies a desire—or defines a strategy—to avoid #humiliation or #embarrassment, to maintain #dignity or #preserve #reputation.
