Dr. Oz thinks we should ‘cancel’ breakfast in 2020, says it’s a ‘ploy’
Are you kidding me?? Ever since Moby Dick was a minnow; the rule of thumb was; breakfast was the most important meal of the day. Now Dr. Oz (must be from the wizard of Oz) is trying to dismiss that belief.
Apparently, the idea that breakfast is a necessary part of the morning is a sham – at least according to Dr. Mehmet Oz. “I think for 2020, the first thing I’m going to do is ban breakfast,” the famous doctor recently told TMZ.
“I don’t think we need to eat breakfast. That’s an advertising ploy.”
What does it take to get a little ink; say something stupid and have a title of some sort.
It seems like more people than not, do not agree with The Doctor of Oz. He is just spinning another #fairy tale.
About The Buzz: Breakfast Is The Most Important Meal of The Day. The BUZZ Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Eating a nutritious breakfast sets the tone for the day and promotes weight maintenance and weight loss by maintaining blood glucose levels and your metabolism.
I think the doc is just another ham & egger looking for some publicity.
What works for me is; I eat a good breakfast ever-day. Alternating day by day from eggs and ham to oatmeal (no spuds). Most of the times I skip lunch than eat a good dinner early in the day. I #work-out after dinner which helps #burn up what I just ate. Dinners at 2200 hrs is not advisable.
It is not so much what you eat, it is how much you eat (portion control). Like everything else in our lives; if we do them with a little #control and #moderation, that is the key to staying healthy.
Eat right (moderate portions) – get enough rest – #exercise at least 4 – 5 times a week, for 30 – 40 minutes – eat junk food in moderation or none at all, BUTT by all means, eat breakfast.
The one thing the Doctor of Oz said I agree with; Most Americans are addicted to food – we should be addicted to life.
As far as I am concerned, an eating #disorder is far worse than most other #addictions. It takes dedication, determination and a boat load of will-power to keep our-self healthy. Pigging out is so easy with all of the 5 for 4.00$ #temptations constantly staring us in the face.
Again quoting Dino Paul Crocetti again; If I knew I was gonna live so long, I would have taken better care of myself.
