2 women killed while climbing icy California mountain

BRIDGEPORT, Calif. — Authorities say two women were killed while climbing an icy canyon on California‘s Red Slate Mountain.

The women who were experienced and well-equipped climbers, they were likely struck by falling rocks on the peak in the Sierra above Convict Lake. The sheriff’s office identified the climbers as 22-year-old Michelle Xue of Los Angeles and 34-year-old Jennifer Shedden of Mammoth Lakes, California.

I guess to some thrill seekers, life is not worth living if they are not on the edge. I do agree to a certain extent. What I do not agree with, but that is only me, these very brave/maybe crazy people that climb with no safety equipment. Like on a death wish.

On top of it, some will sleep in a net hanging off the cliff.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
THIS IS A GREAT CASE FOR EXTREME INSOMNIA.

If we want to live a good long – healthy life, we should not go where we don’t belong. Fell like getting yourself killed?? Take a stroll through the ghettos of The Windy City some dark night. You probably won’t make it from one end to the other, and will have saved the plane fare for your mountain climbing trip.

That being said; I do admire the nerve and bravery the dare-devil have risking their lives for the thrill of it. But as the sign says:
