This CEO raised the minimum salary of his employees to $70k and now he’s doing it again
What really matters in life, is when someone does something good that they are not compelled to.
In 2015, Price decided to hike his employees’ pay after he read a study about happiness. It said additional income can make a significant difference in a person’s emotional well-being up to the point when they earn $75,000 a year.He then made the decision to increase the salaries for all of his 120 employees in Seattle, raising the minimum salary to $70,000 — and slashing his $1 million salary by 90% in order to make it happen.
What a guy!! Don Price should serve as an example to all the greed-monger business owners that are locking it all up for themselves and not spreading it around to the people that work with them.
It takes one hell of a person to step up to the plate and share in his wealth.
