More of Lori Loughlin’s words are coming back to bite her.
In a 2014 interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, the “Full House” actress, who is embroiled in the college admissions scandal, explained how she didn’t want her children to have to suffer for her choices and how that impacted her choice of roles.
“For me personally, I was always very thoughtful about projects that I chose for myself. I would say to myself, ‘Can my father watch this?’ If my father couldn’t watch it, I didn’t do it,” she said. “And then when I had children … I always thought, I don’t want to do anything that one day might rear its ugly head and my children have to pay the price for that.”
Unfortunately for Lori; she didn’t practice what she preached. Her parents would be very proud of her.
It is the OBLIGATION of EVERY GOOD PARENT, to have their kids fall down and get up by themselves – to eat some liver once and awhile – to see and experience the negative sides of life. If they do that; the kid is prepared to effectively handle difficult decisions and hardships that come their way. As we all know; they can be numerous. Helicopter parents are doing nothing but a disservice to their kids and making them dependent cripples.
hel·i·cop·ter par·entnounINFORMALplural noun: helicopter parents

To put the whole thing in a nut shell; it is most prevalent with the more affluent families; the kids that are pamper and spoiled by what their foolish parents, as a result are UNABLE to cope with reality and bumps in the road when it hits them between their eyes. I will go on record saying; this kind of parenting is a very big factor related the drug and suicide epidemic that is strangling the teens.

By BUYING their kids way through life is only destroying the kids by not having the ability to deal with abnormal/ stressful/dangerous situations if they present them-self.
Anyone that can not see that society is getting more brutal by the day, they have their heads where the sun does not shine.
Helicopter parents are ONLY spoiling their brats for their own selfish motives. Let the kids take a flop and get up, dust them-self off and move on !!!
It is a tough world out there and getting tougher. Help your kids to be prepared. In the end, they will love you for it.
