California DMV worker slept thousands of hours on the job, state report finds
Two things jump out at me.
1st: I am taking a wild guess. Sleeping beauty possibly is a minority. Supervision in government services are deathly afraid of disciplining a minorities for fear they will lose their own job.
2nd: Especially in government jobs, slacking is of epidemic proportions. If 25% of them were eliminated, no one would even know they were gone
That is the reason PDT is looking to make it easier for the slackers/abusers in government to be fired. As it stands now, they can kill someone’s mother and possibly get promoted three levels up.

This abuse in government workers is nothing new. Years ago I knew an Italian supervisor in the water department, that after numerous warnings, fired a black guy that was constantly late for work, slept in the truck, came in drunk and refused to work.
The next day Joe Maderotzo was called into the commissioner office and was told, if he did not hire the guy back, don’t let the door hit him in the ass.
Many, BUTT not all minorities have used the race card for years, hiding behind it, knowing, no matter what they did, they could not be fired. PDT is going to put an end to that policy.
I am NOT implying that minorities are the only slackers, there are some honkies that are pros as well. Based on the unwritten law that minorities have always been protected from the AXE for so many years, knowing they will not get fired, they are just better at slacking than most of the others.
If everyone wants equality, it has to be across the board. We can not pick and choose.
Possibly with PDT’s move to eliminate the parasites, that will put a fire under some of the other slackers ass knowing the CAN be fired for poor performance.
The four letter word that so many people hate, WORK, has to be put in the closet and the door locked. It is time to join functional society!!
