Holder on Racism

Holder gave a speech on racism on February 18, 2009, during Black History Month. “Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot in things racial, we have always been, and we, I believe, continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards,” said Holder. “Though race-related issues continue to occupy a significant portion of our political discussion, and though there remain many unresolved racial issues in this nation, we, average Americans, simply do not talk enough with each other about things racial,” he said.^[107]

As we can see; even Obama had to come out and make excuses for his AG because Holder refused to apologize.

The speech stirred some controversy, with some reacting favorably to Holder’s comments and others sharply criticizing them.^[108][109] Obama later clarified Holder’s comments, saying that “I think it’s fair to say that if I had been advising my attorney general, we would have used different language… I think the point that he was making is that we’re oftentimes uncomfortable with talking about race until there’s some sort of racial flare-up or conflict, and that we could probably be more constructive in facing up to the painful legacy of slavery and Jim Crow and discrimination.”^[110][111]

It seems to me that every since The Donald slid under the political fence, anybody and every stumble-bum figures they can beat the odds and one day sit in the BIG CHAIR.

Way back when, people that ran for political office; the majority of them ran for the right reasons, for the betterment of ALL the people and to make a better nation.  Now it seems the vast majority of the people that run for office, are only seek elected positions to fulfill their their own agenda, enrich themselves and because they have an axe to grind. When was the last time we EVER saw a skinny politician driving and old car???

Thinking logically; can anyone with hang-ups like Holder is harboring, run for the presidency and if elected be expected to perform for all people??  I really doubt it.

Needless to say; the sheep wearing the blinders, will show up in droves to vote for Holder.

A good percentage of people DO NOT vote for a person for the right reasons. I will compare it to the Orentahal trial.  OJ got off because he is black not because he was innocent.  The same thing goes for voting; people vote for the most handsome, best dressed, what the wife is wearing and who can be the biggest hypocrite and can bull-shit the public better than who they are running against.

Personally; I don’t care who the person is, where they came from, who their Granddaddy is, what political party they represent; I vote for the person I feel is most qualified and dedicate to doing what is the right things for ALL Americans.

The obligation of any legitimate leader is to make conditions better for ALL people, not to  continually stoke the fires of hatred and to keep them down.  How do we think the black community reacts when Holder fires off with his antagonizing rhetoric??

I don’t care who the person is;  no one can deny that the black community had a VERY rough way to go for years and in some situations still does. BUTT, the answer to getting them out of that rut in not thrown gas on the fire, BUTT to teach them and those around them, how to advance through EDUCATION.  There has NEVER EVER been a positive solution through hatred or violence.

Holder is NOT the right man to lead the USA. I MAY, if I was forced to, even select Joking Joe before him. Now that would be scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Needless to say; 2020 is going to be interesting!!
