FOR JAYWALKING????? What the hell was in this rogue cops head that made him react to a jaywalker the way he did?? John Dillinger didn’t get treated this poorly.

The officer who repeatedly struck Rush in the head, Christopher Hickman, resigned in January, just before he was terminated for violating the use-of-force policy, according to city officials. He was charged in March with felony assault by strangulation and misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury and communicating threats for the August 2017 incident. His lawyer says he’s going to trial and that a jury will acquit him.
The kid told the cop he was on his way home from work and was tired. He was not a drug dealer or a pimp. Beside the fact, the street the kid was crossing was a side street, not in downtown Manhattan.
Can we really blame the black community for being highly disturbed over incidents like this? Absolutely not.
What is the answer?? Not rioting, that is for sure.
It is the same old story about some COWBOY COPS that went wacky. A person, especially in law-enforcement doesn’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that the race relations in this country are sitting on a powder keg waiting to explode. COPS, better than anyone else should make sure that they handle what they think are infractions of the law in an appropriate manner. If someone is committing a capitol crime, naturally they should use all the force, including killing them if necessary; BUTT they should never employ tactics like they did for a jaywalking offnese.
One wacked out COWBOY COP in this country, that losses control, can start a racial upheaval in a matter of minutes.
I will give the cops the acknowledgement that 98% of them do perform very stressful jobs dealing with the public, and do a great job of it; BUTT they all should know what they were getting into when they took the oath.
Unfortunately, there are very small percentage of people that join the police force for ulterior motives and not to serve and protect. They are mental midgets that love the power of the gun and the badge. It is just unfortunate that they can not be vetted in a more efficient manner to keep them off the force.
It should be very disturbing to every American, no matter what race, color or creed they are, police brutality may happen to them at some point.
To make matter worse, pouring gasoline on the fire, many of these abusers get away with their brutality because of the blue code. To me that is bull-shit. Brutality is brutality no matter who or what the person is.
The blue wall of silence, also blue code and blue shield, are terms used in the United States to denote the informal rule that purportedly exists among police officers not to report on a colleague’s errors, misconducts, or crimes, including police brutality.
This is not the deep south in the 1920’s where they used lynching parties as their entertainment on a Saturday afternoon.
Just like I fell that the extreme left-winger and the PC-pathetic are all half nuts, so are the people that condone or defend this type of behavior by rogue cops. ANDDDD; the people that defend them when they are guilty, are as guilty and as they are.
In our journey passing through life, it is not a matter of who we like or dislike; it should be RESPECT we all strive for. Respect and education are the keys to many issues the USA faces today. Without them, we are pissing up a rope and moving backwards.
If anyone wants our future generations to grow up in the same hatred environment we have, they are completely nuts. For no other reason;lets get it right for the kids.
There should be no question whatsoever; if a cop behaves in an unappropriated and reckless manner, depending on the severity of the circumstances, he should be thrown off the force and put in the slams if necessary.
It is WAY BEYOND BELIEF, that in the year 2018 we STILL have fools in this country that; STILL DO NOT GET IT!!!!
