Oakland mayor warns of impending ICE raid, ramping up sanctuary-city tension
Isn’t that why mayors – governors and presidents are elected; to instruct their citizens on how to break the law and than protect them from prosecution??
Mark my word. Sooner or later, this idiotic game that the PC-pathetic are playing with their sanctuary cities is going to backfire, come back and bite them in the ass and severely impact one of THEIR OWN. Then and only then will they see the dangers they have created by sheltering law-breakers. As ignorant as they are, that may not matter to them.
The mayor of a sanctuary city in California issued a warning that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) could be conducting a raid in the area as soon as Sunday — ratcheting up tension with the feds while giving her constituents an early heads-up.
Libby Schaaf, the Democratic mayor of Oakland, shared the warning — which she said she “learned from multiple credible sources” — in a press release on Saturday, “not to panic our residents but to protect them,” Fox 2 reported.
Did we ever think we would see the day when certain jurisdictions in this country that are supposed to uphold the laws of the land, deliberately break the law by sheltering criminals?? It is absolute lunacy.
The hypocrisy of it all. If it were the democratic party that was occupying the Big Chair, NONE OF THESE ISSUES WOULD EVER BE THIS ISSUE.
Now tell me that there is not a double standard in USA’s politics.
The speech Wild Bill made was 20 some years ago when the immigration situation was not nearly as critical as it is today. WB got a standing ovation for it, which he should have; BUTTT; take the speech PDT made on the same subject, nearly verbatim as to what WB said, and the left-wingers tried to cut his head off. Right Kathy???
Folks; let me give you a little clue, just in case some of you have been living in a cave for a few years. ALL of the FEEDING FRENZY that is overtaking our society, be it promiscuity, immorality, pro-drugs – smut – permissiveness with the younger generation, protecting illegals and whatever else we can throw in the mix; somehow they are all inner connected. They all stem from the far-left and their very liberal/illogical, permissive concept of life and enforcing the law. These people, with their twisted mentality are now and will be the ruination of this country as we once knew it.
People like the illegal protectors and the PC-ers were all hatched out of the same egg and cut out of the same cloth. Because of their twisted mentality, this country hasn’t ever been in the deplorable shape it is in today. Only a fools that has their head where the sun doesn’t shine will disagree with that.
Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf and the rest of the incompetents like her, lead the pack in the Pathetic PC Parade. Once again; if it were the democratic party that were occupying the Big Chair, none of this, including everything else PDT attempts to do would not be an issue. .
It is way beyond any reasonable comprehension that these fools can not see the harm they are inflicting on this country, mainly the younger generation with their illogical mentality.

In addition, political correctness encourages the pursuit of conformity. Through social intimidation, a diverse body of ideas and expressions no longer flourishes in the diminishing world of American free speech. A growing aspect of societal multiculturalism only further contributes to this problem. Proponents of political correctness obsess over their belief that language should not be injurious to any ethnicity, race, gender, religion or other social group. They attempt to eliminate what they consider to be offensive remarks and actions and replace them with harmless substitutes that come at the expense of free expression.
Their initial mission may have been in line with civility, that language should not be injurious to any ethnicity, race, gender, religion or other social group; BUTT, it is my opinion that they have gone completely too far. With the radicals getting involved it is no longer a balloon, it is a dirigible.
That has always been a major anchor in our society. How many organizations/elements started off with good intentions, BUTT before we knew it, they didn’t even resemble what their original intent was.
Self-preservation and up holding the laws should be the basic fundamentals of human behavior. When they are ignored and kicked to the curb, that is when the entire system is going to crumble.
The PC-ers and the extreme-left in this country may be having a field day now with all of their disruptive lunacy. BUTT, a day of reckoning is just around the corner when their cause will either implode on us all, or door # 2; finally overtake society completely as SOP (standard operation procedure), and eventually morph into a complete disastrous. I would say it is well on it’s way to door # 2.
