LeBron James to Fox News host: ‘We will definitely not shut up and dribble”

LOS ANGELES – LeBron James thanked Fox News host Laura Ingraham, though not by name, for raising awareness, highlighting the injustice that James has been underscoring for years and giving the 14-time All-Star a magnified platform to respond to her comments.

“I actually laughed first when I first saw the reports and then I watched the video and I saw exactly how it was put off,” James said from Saturday’s All-Star availability. “Well first of all, I had no idea who she is or what she do. So she won in that case because now I know who she is.”

“We live in a, we’re back to everything I’ve been talking about for the last few years,” James continued. “It lets me know that everything I’ve been saying is correct for her to have that type of reaction. But we will definitely not shut up and dribble. I will definitely not do that. I mean too much to society, I mean too much to the youth, I mean too much to so many kids that feel like they don’t have a way out and they need someone to help lead them out of the situation they’re in.”

I commend James for speaking up for himself; that is what real men and women do that have any self-respect for themselves. What make it more tolerable, is if they are right or accurate about their opinions. He may have to work a little on that.

This is the part of James’s statement I am going to be watching closely.

If he does what he claims he is going to do, my hat is off to him. If he does NOT follow through with his decloration of action; all he will have done, as so many before him; is sell a lot of WOLF TICKETS.

I have stated this repeatedly. The kids in the black community are starving for their Knight in Shinning Armour, to ride into town on their mighty steed and rescue them themselves.

Celebs like James are tailor made for this task. The young kids today need someone of his popularity and social status to lead the march. They need role models not;

The first place and only place to start is with education. The word/term education is not about 2 + 2 = 4; it is about developing personal skills and the intelligence at an early age in life so they can go on and become respectful, productive citizens and role models for the rest of the of the people around them. Who knows; something like this, if developed properly, can become very contagious. Wouldn’t that be great!!

There is plenty of room on this planet for all of the races to co-exist in harmony.
