Coach abused me and took nude photos, former swimmer says

A former world champion swimmer says her former coach sexually abused and exploited her for several years beginning when she was 16, according to court documents filed this week in Washington state.
Ariana Kukors, now 28, told Department of Homeland Security investigators that Sean Hutchison abused her starting in 2005 and he took thousands of sexually explicit photographs of her when she was a minor.
Took 1,000’s of explicit pictures?? My questions is; just how naive are you???? 10 pictures – 100 pictures, a very BIG MAYBE; over a 1,000 is a stretch of; just how naive are you????
It would be very cold and heartless to insinuate that these incidents didn’t happen, because they probably did. My questions is; just how naive are you???? When does the age of reason kick in?
According to Kukors the abuses began when she was 16 years old; not 11 or 12, BUTT, 16 years old. My questions is; just how naive are you????
The following have different plateaus in the learning process, BUTT as researchers have indicated, babies begin to know right from wrong as early as 19 months. Not 19 years, 19 months. So it would be very easy to conclude, by the age of 16, a persons knowledge of right from wrong should be fully developed.
Now 13 years later, Kukors is coming public with her story.
This may not be the case here, BUTT in many situations, these young ladies know that what they are engaged in is wrong, BUTT, they are so infatuated with their coaches, that make them feel special and that they are the only ones, they turn a blind eye to their situation until the bubble bursts, and only then do they come out.
“I never thought I would share my story because, in so many ways, just surviving was enough,” she said in a statement released by her attorneys. “I was able to leave a horrible monster and build a life I could have never imagined for myself. But in time, I’ve realized that stories like my own are too important to go unwritten.”
I am not saying that these crimes did or did not happen; I am saying; just how naive is a person not to know right from wrong at 16 years of age and why wait 13 years to come forward with her claims??
Hutchison, 46, said in a statement last month and resent to CNN on Friday that everything he did with Kukors was consensual. They had a “committed relationship” after the 2012 Olympics that lasted more than a year, he said.
“I absolutely deny having any sexual or romantic relationship with her before she was old enough to legally make those decisions for herself,” he said in the statement, which was provided by attorney Brad Meryhew. “Prior to that time, I did nothing to ‘groom’ her.”
Can this be a case of sour apples or a scorned women???
To start and end with, having sexual relations with a student or an underling, regardless if it is consensual or not is strictly forbidden. Hutchison is a scumbag. Are kids very impressionable when they are younger and view their coaches as some sort of super heroes? Absolutely, yes. BUTT, after the infatuation wears off, why should it take anyone 13 years to come forward??
Another stickler with me is; only through therapy have some of these incidents been brought to light.
Kukors’ attorneys said that, through therapy, she recently became aware that she had been abused. They also said USA Swimming knew eight years ago that Hutchison “was involved in an inappropriate coach-athlete relationship.”
Again; this lady was not 5 years old when these abuses allegedly happened. She was 16 years old. According to her statement, she was unaware of the root of her condition until she went through therapy?? I have some reservations about that.
This relationship or abuse, whatever we want to call it, started in 2005 and they had many encounters with one another. It was NOT a onetime shot in the dark.
She wrote Friday that she and Hutchison didn’t have intercourse before she turned 18. They were at an out-of-state meet, she writes, when “Sean snuck me into his room to finally give me my ‘gift’; I’ll spare you the details, but the memory of that night will always haunt me. “
I will concede that; until many of other accusations from other abused women became public, she and other like her may have been afraid to come forward. That is understandable. BUTT the claim of not knowing right from wrong at 16 years old is extremely hard to believe; and the fact she did not become aware of her dilemma until she went to therapy.
There have been many cases where someone goes to see a shrink for an eating disorder or some other minor related illness, BUTT come out believing that their father molested them. Some of these shrinks are boarder line nuts themselves.
Logically thinking; if a person is molested, especially multiple times, would it be necessary for shrink to resurrect that information from them?? I don’t think so.
To be clear. I am not suggesting Kukor was not abused; my contention is, at her age, she had to know what she was engaging in and it was not the right thing to do!!

I would have run off far and fast knowing it was wrong

Unfortunately Hocus, there are a lot of ulterior motive$ attached to some of these storie$. We live in an absolute demented society and getting worse by the day with these deranged PC-ers. What rock are the SILENT MAJORITY hiding under these days??
There should be more Sicilian fathers in this country that deeply care about their kids welfare.
