How far should we bend over???

‘Time is of the essence,’ UN official says after North Korea visit

Tensions on the Korean Peninsula are the world’s most dangerous security issue, and must be resolved fast and diplomatically to avoid war, a top United Nations envoy said after a rare visit to North Korea.

Jeffrey Feltman, the UN under-secretary-general for political affairs, visited the reclusive nation between Tuesday and Friday, the first trip there by a top UN official in six years.
During his visit, he met with Ri Yong Ho, the North Korean minister for foreign affairs. Their meeting came at a particularly tense time — a week after North Korea tested an advance long-range missile and South Korea conducted military drills with its ally, the United States.
Ri and Feltman “agreed that the current situation was the most tense and dangerous peace and security issue in the world today,” the UN said in a statement.
My question is; how far is the USA and the world suppose to bend-over for this wack job??
Not 100%, but a high percentage of were we are today is the fault of the Obama administration and their manner of conducting business with their PC-policies. As a result, PDT has inherited the unenviable  mission of dealing with the North Korean nut case.
The entire world knows that The Kid has been the aggressor from day one.  There is only so much bullying and being slapped around anyone should be expected to take.
Based on what I see, PDT has done an exceptional job of standing up to the kid. BUT, it has become a pissing contest between the two combatants as to who is going to win the ball busting contest that is only aggravating the situation.
If I were PDT, only because of his insatiable compulsion to use Tweedy Bird as an outlet, that gets him into trouble from time to time, I would set the parameters of what will and will not be acceptable.  Set up a specialized team to deal with NK and then back off the ball breaking and name calling.  PDT has to ignore all of the innuendos and insults as if they do not exist.  Sooner or later The Kid will do one of two things; stop the ball busting or push the button.  I personal do not see the benefits of harassing a mad man that has atomic weapons at his disposal.
I am not one that likes to or approves of coddling or copulating to a spoiled brat; but in this case, the mentality of thinking that, discretion is the better part of valor, is the way to go.
Cambridge Dictionary
Discretion is the better part of valour:
PDT has to put his ego and Tweedy Bird phone in the closet and not exchange UN-pleasantries with The Kid.
PDT must set up a negotiating team assigned to work with a NK team and stay out of the picture.  With The Kid and PDT rolling boulders at one another constantly, just exacerbates the issue.  This is not the time for childish behavior on either side of the issue.
What is the good news? There is none.
