Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Is Pushing His Country To The Brink. Will It Hold Together?
Just like when the Old West was engulfed in chaos and lawlessness, out of desperation, the town father’s appointed half gun-slinger and half lawman named Wyatt Earp to put the fires out. Essentially that is what Mohammed bin Salman, the 32-year-old Saudi king-to-be, has undertaken in his country, the task of cleaning house. The modern day terminology would be; draining the swamp or taking out the trash.
BUT; just like with Wyatt Earp, after Salman began getting a handle on the problems and started making drastic changes, the town fathers started getting nervous over the tactics he was using and wanted to pull in the reigns in on him. The modern day Wyatt is getting too powerful for their liking and they wanted to deep 6 the organizer.
That just goes to show us how hypocritical human-nature is. In a broad stretch of imagination, Salman can be compared to Doc Holiday, Wyatt Earp and some of the other ORGANIZERS of the old west. In the eyes of the country’s sub-leaders Mohammed bin Salman is getting too powerful with his aggressiveness that is cutting into their profits.

The crown prince is likely to see at least some success. But officials and experts monitoring the kingdom are increasingly worried about his methods. If Mohammed bin Salman pushes too hard, he could shatter his society ― and unleash a nightmare.
Since Nov. 4, the prince has accelerated his campaign. His new anti-corruption agency has arrested hundreds of prominent Saudis ― including royal family members like recently released Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, the son of the previous king and former head of the powerful National Guard, and noted billionaire investor Prince Alwaleed bin Talal ― as well as dozens of military officers and private businessmen like construction magnate Bakr Binladin.
Salman is determined to clean up the crime, corruption and business as usual in his country. In the process he has to OLD GUARD worried that he is getting too close to home.
I say more power to Salman with his crusade and wish him the best in his draining the sand. It is exceptionally rare when a truly legitimate patriotic person surfaces who is willing to risk everything for the betterment of their people. That can also be spelled PDT.
People like Salman and PDT are very unique. A good majority of the world’s population are so self-centered, selfish and afraid to take an unpopular stand, they are willing to close their eyes and ears to all dishonest/evil situations surround them and pretend they don’t exist. That is not how undesirable conditions are resolved.
Gotta and let the chips fall where they may.
