Report: Flynn blocked US military plan that Turkey opposed
I am ashamed to say that Flynn was a top Jar Head. He is a disgrace to the Army, his country and fits right into a person selling their soul.
Just days before President Trump was sworn in, his former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, reportedly blocked a military plan opposed by Turkey that was supposed to take aim against an ISIS group.
The question is WHY? Why, are 530,000 reason enough?
The plan that he reportedly blocked was to be carried out by Syrian Kurdish forces in Raqqa, a measure Turkey has long opposed.
Flynn, who was fired from his position in February, was registered as a foreign agent for $530,000 worth of lobbying work before Election Day.
The root of all evil, $oldi, has turned many men’s heads in the wrong direction. As Flynn has proven, he had his hand out and was for hire. He was deceitful to PDT and made him look very foolish when he got the appointment.
There is only one reason any government or entity would pay that kind of money to an agent/lobbyist. For every dollar they kick in, they expect 250 in return in the way of political influence.
Going back to before Obama was elected, he made a promise that he was going to clear the halls of lobbyists and PDT claims that he is going to drain the swamps. Obama’s commitment was all smoke. The lobbyists are stronger toady than they have ever been.
At least PDT has started down the right path by signing an executive order forbidding anyone that has held a political office from becoming a lobbyist after they retire. Different sectors have different restrictions.
Christopher Buckley’s review of Mark Leibovich’s “In This Town,” a Thackeray-esque exposé of official Washington, uncovers this buried morel on page 330 of the book. In 1974, just 3% of retiring members of Congress became lobbyists. Today, 50% of retiring Senators and 42% of retiring House members stay in DC and become lobbyists. The more than 1,500% increase goes a long way towards explaining how an entrenched, permanent political class has risen in DC.
President Donald Trump acted Saturday to fulfill a key portion of his pledge to “drain the swamp” in Washington, banning administration officials from ever lobbying the U.S. on behalf of a foreign government and imposing a separate five-year ban on other lobbying.
We may ask our-self a stupid question. Why is there more than a 1,500% increase with politicians becoming lobbyists? It is all about them getting paid back for favor$ extended or the use of their political connections after they leave office. To put it in a nuts shell, there is a very high percentage of politicians that are on the take, in and out of office.
I would have expected a lot more from General Flynn than to $ell his $oul and keeping his deception under wraps, making PDT look like a salami.
Not comparing PDT to JC but comparing the situation. Flynn reminds me of a traitor way back when, who in a round-about way did the same thing. He sold his $oul for a bag of gold.
I don’t know where this investigation is going but I hope if Flynn did anything illegal he has to pay the price. He had to know his involvement with foreign governments was against regulations based on the direction he was going in PDT’s cabinet.
I have always said; we never know a person until we live with them!!
Doing a favor for someone is one thing but thwarting an attack on ISIS that could have had some very positive results is an entirely different ball game. Something I would consider very serious.
Timelines distributed by members of Congress show that Flynn told then national security advisor Susan Rice to hold off, delaying the operation against ISIS for months.
That still is the $64,000.00 questions, WHY? Had to be a bigger payday coming down the pike from somewhere.
So much for Flim-Flam-Flynn
