As trial nears, Bill Cosby says racism could be a factor
This has to be a desperation attempt to get the Dr. Huxtable off the hook. Too little too late.
Weeks before his criminal trial begins, Bill Cosby gave a rare interview to a radio host, saying racism and “nefarious” motivations could be behind the allegations against him.
We all know that is nonsense. If anything, possibly, some of his own people were behind the allegations because they took offense to The Coz telling it like it is.
These factors may be partially true but the fact still remains that The Coz had a dark side to him no one knew about. That is a real shame, he was one of the only black leaders that had the goolunies to try set do a reversal with the deplorable conditions in the black community.
It seemed very curious to me, coincidentally, around the time Cosby was getting down on his people, telling them to quit blaming the white people for all of their short-comings, is when the allegations of rape and molestation began.
Initially, I thought the allegations against him were false when only one or two ladies made their claims. As the investigation developed, I concluded, maybe 1 or 2 were attempting to get on the ca$h wagon but 15 or 20, he had to be guilty.
Before all of the facts were released, I remember thinking; this is the gratitude this guy gets from his own people when he is one of the only influential black people telling it the way it is.

The title “You Can’t Blame White People” is a quote by Bill Cosby in a speech given on May 17, 2004 at an event sponsored by the NAACP commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision in Brown vs Board of Education. Mr. Cosby’s point was, and continues to be, that black people need to take a good look at themselves and end what he believes to be our destructive practices that, in the considered opinion of Mr. Cosby, is at the root of the suffering of black people in America.
I don’t care who it is, what nationality they are, race or religion. At some point and time in EVERYONE’S life they have to take responsibility for their own actions.
Just about every nationality that settled in the USA was harassed, bullied, spit on, lynched and discriminated against. BUT the Big But, they put their noses to the grind stone, worked very hard, EDUCATED THEMSELVES, and overcame their stigmas.
I blame the government for creating millions of Frankenstein by letting the welfare system get out of control. What the hell gives anyone the incentive to work if they are being kept by the government? Studies have shown that some people can live better off of THE SYSTEM than if they had a job. Idle minds are the devils workshop.
Here’s an offer for you: $38,004 per year, tax work at your local welfare office.
Back to The Coz. In my opinion he is adding insult to injury by saying that the charges against him are trumped up and revolve around racism. He has to take his own advice and quit blaming the white-man or racism for his over-sexed indiscretions.
It truly is disheartening he had that dark side to him and lost all of the respect in all communities he worked so hard to get. At one time, he was brilliant beacon of light for his race that they needed so badly.
