MOAB bomb A Massive Ordnance Air Blast- or more commonly known as the Mother of All Bombs -(MOAB) weapon is prepared for testing at the Eglin Air Force Armament Center on March 11, 2003. The MOAB is a precision-guided munition weighing 21,500 pounds and will be dropped from a C-130 Hercules aircraft for the test. It will be the largest non-nuclear conventional weapon in existence. The MOAB is an Air Force Research Laboratory technology project that began in fiscal year 2002 and was scheduled to be completed in 2003.
The cost of one of these MOTHERS is in the neighborhood of 16 million dollar$. The blast in Afghanistan yesterday killed 36 ISIS terrorists. That means that it cost $444,444.44 to rid mankind of each one of the terrorists. 16 million is just to make the MOTHER. The cost to prepare it for the mission and to transport the MOTHER to its destination had to be another several million.
In round figures, I would say that it cost at least $500,000.00 to kill each one of the ISIS terrorists. Was it worth the cost? I would say yes. Yes, not because of killing the terrorists but, yes because of the message it sent to the rest of the madmen in the world; the day of empty threats and promises not kept is over.
Through his puppet John Kerry, Obama Administration’s Final Warning on the Middle East Peace Process
That warning had to be the last of about 3810 threats/or elese the Obama administration made while he was in the Big Chair. He sounded like a PC mother scolding her brat kids for the 1,000th time but never taking action. Mr. O would have been better off ignoring all of the situations. It would have made him look a lot better.
According to reports, the USA government had 20 of these MOTHERS made. Unless someone stole one or two of them, (nothing would surprise me) we have 18 or 19 waiting in the wings to drop at the opportune time.
It is absolutely shameful that mankind had to, or choose to produce weapons like this. If it were not for all of the warmongerers in this world who want it all, weapons such as the MOTHER and THE BIG ONE would not be necessary. Unfortunately, it is a fact of life and a fact of death, whoever has the biggest, most ferocious, most powerful and toughest dog is going to win the fight.
I totally agree with the manner in which PDT had the Air Force carry out their mission. No one knew about it until it was over. That is the way to conduct military operations.
My only disappointment in the mission; there should have been more terrorists killed in the operation. That was a heavy price to pay to get rid of 36 of them, but well worth it for the message it sent to the rest of the world.
The after effects the USA has to be concerned with; I will guarantee, as sure as I am pounding this keyboard, Russia, China, and North Korea have their top scientists busy at the drawing board designing a bigger and more power MOTHER (MAMA – 母親 – 어머니).
I hope the day never comes but if we (the world) continues to follow the same insane course we are on, it is inevitable that sooner or later mankind is going to destroy itself in one way or another.
