If anyone has not noticed, there are astronomical differences between Obama and PDT and Tillerson and Capitulating Kerry. Obama and company only sold Wolf tickets, PDT and company sell and buys them.
This can be a good thing if the seller of the tickets can back up their threats/demands. If not; don’t open a can of worms if you do not intend to go fishing!!
Urban dictionary: for all of the uninformed
To speak aggressively to someone without intending to back it up with violence.
U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson issued a stern ultimatum to Russia Tuesday: side with America and its allies on Syria or stand alongside Syrian President Bashar Assad, Iran, and the militant group Hezbollah.
“We want to relieve the suffering of the Syrian people. Russia can be a part of that future and play an important role,” Tillerson added in remarks to reporters following urgent meetings in Italy with top diplomats. “Or Russia can maintain its alliance with this group, which we believe is not going to serve Russia’s interests longer term.
“We cannot let this happen again,” he added.
To put this entire scenario into a cannoli shell; Tillerson has called ass on Russia to get in line or else.
As I said many times; the Judo Guy is not accustomed to being talked down to or being threatened. Personally, I don’t think Puting is going to back down. PDT is calling ass on him in front of the world and to him, that is a huge embarrassment. I don’t think he will capitulate.
More stern words from Tillerson: Tillerson said it was unclear whether Russia had failed to take seriously its obligation to rid Syria of chemical weapons, or had merely been incompetent. But he said the distinction “doesn’t much matter to the dead.”
Where I come from, innuendos like that are fighting words.
The next few days or weeks are going to be very interesting and possibly volatile. Let us hope that logical/sensible minds prevail. I have my doubts.
Was it a good move on PDT’s part to get involved in Syria? Only time will tell. I still maintain; AT WHAT COST was our involvement worth it? If the end result develops into a world war, absolutely not.
There are 1,000’s of atrocities happening around this cruel world on a daily basis. We can not get involved in all of them.
I hope PDT and company look at the big picture and all of its possible implications.
