Trump set to undo Obama’s action against global warming
Moving forward with a campaign pledge to unravel former President Obama’s sweeping plan to curb global warming, President Trump on Tuesday is set to sign an executive order that will suspend, rescind or flag for review more than a half-dozen measures in an effort to boost domestic energy production in the form of fossil fuels.
As part of the roll-back, Trump will initiate a review of the Clean Power Plan, which restricts greenhouse gas emissions at coal-fired power plants.
The regulation, which was the former president’s signature effort to curb carbon emissions, has been the subject of long-running legal challenges by Republican-led states and those who profit from burning oil, coal and gas.
Trump, who has called global warming a “hoax” invented by the Chinese, has repeatedly criticized the power-plant rule and others as an attack on American workers and the struggling U.S. coal industry. The contents of the order were outlined to reporters in a sometimes tense briefing with a senior White House official, whom aides insisted speak without attribution, despite Trump’s criticism of the use of unnamed sources.
Anyone that can look at these ariel views of the exact same locations and deny that global warming is not a real issue, they need help.
Is global warming 100% the fault of mankind by the pollution we have emitted into the atmosphere through the years? Probably not; BUT, always the BIG BUT, it should be a forgone conclusion that we have had a big hand in it. It is impossible to deny the facts. It is common sense. Do the naysayers claim the pictures were doctored up?
In many countries, their pollution has become so bad, they literally have to SHUT DOWN the cities or alternate the number of vehicles being driven so their citizens are not seriously infected.
Gotta look at the dollar$ and cent$ behind these decisions. The more restrictions there are put on global warming, the less fossil fuel work can be executed. It is all about money honey. The big wigs, the controllers of big bucks are not concerned with future generations, it is all about how much $oldi they can lock up now.
In my opinion, evolution played a very big part with the temperature rise we have experienced. It is a combination of man-made pollution and evolution.
This morning I am coining a new word; it is pollevution, putting the blame on both sides for the sake of clarity and simplicity.
