Why you ask?? It is all about the $$$$$

The 10 most prosperous countries in the world:

Where is the USA???

Why you ask?? Take a look at the countries and ask yourself; when was the last time any of these countries were significantly involved at war anywhere in the world??

Australia – Denmark – Sweden – Netherlands – Canada – Switzerland – Finland – Norway and New Zealand. 9 out of the 10 most prosperous countries in the world; for all intents and purposes mind their own business  and are NOT involved in conflicts all over the globe.

The 10th country England, has been involved at a slightly higher scale than the other 8 but nothing nearly close to the magnitude as the protector of the world, United States.

Being a person that most of the time wants to stick his hand in the wound; I always try to rationalise situations to see if they make sense.

Needless to say, all of the wars/conflicts the USA has been in the last 50 plus years, starting with Vietnam, in my opinion, have been WARS FOR PROFIT.  Unnecessary situation that we had no business getting involved in.

Military Costs of Major U.S. Wars (Updated to Include Appropriations Enacted Through June 30, 2008

Vietnam 1965-1975 1968 Current Year $ 111 billion 2.3% 9.5% Constant FY2008$ 686 billion

Persian Gulf War /a/ 1990-1991 1991 Current Year $ 61 billion 0.3% 4.6% Constant FY2008$ 96 billion

Iraq /b/ 2003-Present 2008 Current Year $ 616 billion 1.0% 4.2% Constant FY2008$ 648 billion

Afghanistan/GWOT /b,c/ 2001-Present 2007 Current Year $ 159 billion 0.3% 4.0% Constant FY2008$ 171 billion

Post-9/11 Domestic Security (Operation Noble Eagle) /b/ 2001-Present 2003 Current Year $ 28 billion 0.1% 3.7% Constant FY2008$ 33 billion

Total Post-9/11 — Iraq, Afghanistan/GWOT, ONE /d/ 2001-Present 2008 Current Year $ 809 billion 1.2% 4.2% Constant FY2008$ 859 billion

686 + 96 + 648 + 171 + 33+ 859 = $ 2,493,000,000,000.00

That total is in trillions folks. The latest information I could get was from 2008, so we can just imagine what the actual numbers are today. We can probably add another T or 2. But what does it really matter once we have exceeded 100 billion?

Starting with Vietnam, each and every war/conflict we have engaged in was all for nothing. With the exception of Vietnam, because they have had time to recover since then, all the countries we have invaded are much worse off now in every respect than before we stuck our unsolicited  noses in their business.

Why should I care if one country or another is communist or whatever they chose to be? Many of them are better off financially than we are.

This is a common scene that the politicians do not want other countries to see. They all live in Knob Hill and don’t give 2 shits how the rest of the country is living. If they did, they would not make such stupid/irresponsible decisions.  Time for a change FOLKS.

Can we even begin to imagine what this country, if it was run by honest politicians, what we could do with $ 2,493,000,000,000.00 ?  We could have repaired or replaced all of our crumbling/decaying infrastructures and paved our streets with gold.

More important than the money we lost in these wars, are the 65,431 people killed unnecessarily when had no justification for engaging in them in combat.

Number of military casualties in recent wars:

Vietnam War 1961–75 58,209
Iraq War/Afghanistan Wars 2001– 2014 7,222

As of 11-06-16 we are still losing military people in foreign wars, but there is little to no mention of them in the news. Our government wants to call them the EXPENDABLES.

I could probably count on one hand the number of relatives of the high-end politicians that were engaged in combat situations.

So why is the USA so far down on the totem pole when it comes to prosperous countries? Mismanagement and blood sucking, greedy politicians that have started the WARS FOR PROFIT.

I will agree that there had to be retaliation against the terrorists that attacked the USA on 911. But I do not agree that our country had to chase them around the world. Up until this very day, they have NEVER really been caught or the eliminated the enemy.

Cronyism at it’s finest, get me out of town:

As a matter of fact, when all airspace was shut down and  all airports around the country were secured, GWB allowed wealthy citizens from Saudi Arabia permission to fly back to their motherland. 15 of the 19 terrorists that pulled off 911 were Saudi citizens.

You scratch my back, I will fill your pockets.

Vanity Fair

The War at Home

Just days after 9/11, wealthy Saudi Arabians, including members of the bin Laden family, were whisked out of the U.S. on private jets. No one will admit to clearing the flights, and the passengers weren’t questioned. Did the Bush family’s long relationship with the Saudis help make it happen?

House of Bush, House of Saud cover

House of Bush, House of Saud: The Secret Relationship Between the World’s Two Most Powerful Dynasties is a 2004 book by Craig Unger that explores the relationship between the Saudi Royal Family and the Bush extended political family. Unger asserts that the groundwork for today’s terrorist movements and the modern wars that have sprung up about them was unintentionally laid more than 30 years ago with a series of business deals between the ruling Saudis and the powerful Bush family. The Saudis received investments and military protection in exchange for cooperation on lucrative oil deals. The author claims that the result has been a shady alliance between “the world’s two most powerful dynasties.” Unger writes, “Never before has an American president been so closely tied to a foreign power that harbors and supports our country’s mortal enemies.”

Now tell me that there was not and probably still is a mountain of hanky panky going on between our heavy hitters and our supposed enemy. I will not believe it.

With $ 2,493,000,000,000.00 we could have built an invisible, impenetrable wall around the USA to keep us safe; yet our leaders felt we had to cross the pond to protect interests they and their cronies had in foreign countries.  Not to mention all of the dollars it took to gear up and rebuild  what we just blew up. Makes a lot of sense to me; blow it  up and then build it up.

So, once again we can ask ourselves (don’t want to ask a politician – we never get a straight answer), why the USA, the country that could be # 1 in the world is so far down the tubes we can not see the light of day??

Has to be enough to make you ralph, Ralph!!

If our politicians would only, for starters, not be as crooked and decptive, remember charity begins at home – mind their own business – take care of their own first – before trying to correct others so-called discrepancies, take care of yours first and don’t go where you don’t belong.  This country could be sitting on the top of the world instead of in the basement of social/financial economics.

Don’t ask Mr. O., he will tell us that all is well in the OK Corral.

Folks, it is all about the money.

Let us get the person in The Big Chair that is not part of the corrupt system and hopefully, hopefully he can get us back on track.

Don’t fall for THE BUSINESS AS USUAL candidate. She and her hubby are one of the primary reasons we are in such disastrous condition.

If you are satisfied with their performance and I do me PERFORMANCE, put your X in the D box (D standing for dummy).

If not, you know what to do.
