Tony Robbins supporters defend motivational guru’s hot coal walk
Some of Tony’s supporters can be compared to the gullible guy that keeps buying used cars from the same crooked car salesman that screws him on every deal but he keeps going back.
Many people have different tags for guys like him. Some are called great orators – good public speakers – con men – elixir salesman – bullshit artists – eloquent – and a array of other names. They are very good and convincing at what they do and continually pray in the weak.
People that attend his hot foot seminars pay big bucks keeping this guy in style.
If there is one attribute in life that can make any normal Joe Blow into a very successful person is the gift of gab; a good communicator. The gift of gab is a phenomenal gift to be born with. Tony Robbins and many others like him have put their talents to good use and make billions of dollars. Something like some shysters that call themselves preachers.
Tony Robbins (AKA born Anthony J. Mahavoric; February 29, 1960) just happens to be one of the best in the business. He probably figured with a handle like Mahavoric it would diminish his chance of succeeding. Rob-ing brings a lot more character to it’s sound.
This guy is so good he can sell ice to and Eskimo – fire to the devil – bullshit to a farmer or con Mother Theresa out of her skivvies.
One of his forte’s in his arsenal of tricks is to have his foolish followers walk on hot coals barefooted. That action is supposed to release them from all of their inhibitions and worldly troubles. The fact of the matter; what dozens of the lost sheep did get out of the fire walks instead of personal nirvana; dozens of them were sent to sick bay to recover from their burnt, swollen, blistered feet.

I have always has baffled why so many people flock to these supposed healers and are taken in by their con. Many of the sheep are paying with big bags of wool to be made fools out of and injured. Injuring myself accidentally is one thing but paying for it is extremely foolish.
Quite a few of the followers are people that come from affluent backgrounds and are supposedly well-educated people. They certainly have proven that having money and an education does not constitute commonsense.
Keep the coals burning Tony. As long as there are foolish people in the world, you will need all the charcoal and lighter fluid you can get your hand OR feet on.
