GOP convention no-shows threaten to undercut Trump unity push

Former Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush have said they will not attend, as have 2008 nominee John McCain and 2012 nominee Mitt Romney. Former 2016 White House candidate Jeb Bush also is expected to skip.

These so called heavy hitters/upper echelon from the Republican party have less sense than their party logo, the Pachyderm. I will grab your tail and follow you anywhere.

This would be my opinion regardless of whom the presumptive candidate may be. Because of their stubbornness and arrogance, they are dividing the party.  They all have talked about unity in the party for years and now because there is an outsider threatening their power – money and control, they will not support him. That is all it amounts to; power – money and control.

With attitudes and mentality such as they have; it would not surprise me if they didn’t vote for Bill’s wife just for spite.

We all know the old saying. The guy was so stupid; he cut off his nose to spite his face.  

I will show you nose who is the boss!!

Mind you; these people are supposed to be the creme da la creme of the Pachyderm Party. Not saying much for their supposed wisdom.
