Drone strikes British Airways flight on approach to Heathrow Airport
A British Airways flight carrying 132 passengers and five crew members was hit by a drone as it approached London’s Heathrow Airport Sunday afternoon.
The pilot said an object — believed to be a drone — had struck the Airbus A320 as it arrived at the London hub from Geneva, Sky News reported. The flight, BA727, landed safely at Heathrow’s Terminal 5.
The ignorance of public officials and decision makers in this country never ceases to amaze me. 132 people could have been killed for no other reason than most lawmakers are not playing with a full deck. They are commonsense deprived. If it is not their idea, it is not a good one.
I think I have to come up with an entirely new, distinct, one of a kind, specifically designed with them in mind, category of a mental state to demonstrate who and what these people really are. I am going to coin the word and say the majority of public officials and decision-makers around the world are mentallyincapacitized.
What other word so vividly describes them? None that I could think of, so I had to make one up.
I have done numerous posts going back 2 years on the danger of drones and that they should ALL be banned except for police and military use. Falling all on deaf ears.
The only way there is ever going to be some reasonable action taken to rid the skies of these dangerous pests is when some dignitary or one of their relatives is involved in one of these mishaps and they are injured or killed. It is a very common trait of these people; if it does not impact them, it doesn’t exist.
Ask this couple what they think of drones.
Some toy drones are like pesty little mosquitos; by all appearances look harmless enough until they sting you and give you a fatal disease. Ever hear of the Zika Virus???
Time to wake up and smell the napalm you bunch of mentallyincapacitized fools before there is a gigantic catastrophic.
I don’t even want to mention terrorist and the possible deadly uses they have for the drones. I won’t even mention that.
