Donald Trump tones down fight with Pope Francis

I don’t agree with a lot of what the Donald says but I do agree that Pope Francis should not have made the comment about Trump not being a Christian as he did.

Personally I know more sinner that hit the rail (go to communion) every Sunday for SHOW and TELL, it is disgraceful.

I have always maintained; if all of the hypocrites were pulled out of churches, the pews would be empty.

One of the more unlikely battles to ever jolt a presidential campaign emerged Thursday when Pope Francis said Trump is “not Christian” if he wants to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. Trump, true to form, shot back that the pontiff’s comments were “disgraceful.”

One remark like that coming from the right person could mean success or failure to a someones chances of succeeding or failure.

As the old saying goes; religion and politics do not mix. 

The Donald should ask his Holiness what his solution would be to the immigrant problem. They have a lot of gold they are sitting on in the Vatican.  It is estimated that the Vatican is worth between 10 – 15 bbbbbbillion dollars.

I like Pope Francis and what he stands for but I think he was out of bounds.  We may have to confine him to the confessional (penalty box) for the rest of the day.
