Today is one of the rare days that I have the opportunity to say something positive about Mr. Obama. I hope there are more to come.
As you will see on the video, Obama is conveying a very positive, important and necessary message to some young men in our country that “they have to learn to fend for themselves.”
Nothing is free in life. We all have to work hard to get ahead no matter what legitimate route we take, unless our name is Kennedy or Rockefeller.
No employer is going to hire a person if they are not worthy of a position and it all begins with EDUCATION.
I am not referring to an education in mathematics, physics or science, what I refer to is an EDUCATION on how to develop the skills any person needs on how to become a respected, responsible citizen. If anyone wants to be respected they have to give respect.
After a person hones these skills through a lot of hard work and determination, no matter what race, color or creed they are, they can become a productive part of society and not just some rabble-rousing bum in the street.
Just like in the Marine Corps or any other branch of the service, we had to earn our rank one stripe at a time. No one ever said the task was easy.
Good job Mr. O – I give you 2 thumbs up today and hopefully in the future you will keep up the same positive rhetoric for the younger generations and encourage some of the other leaders in this country to do the same. Nothing is ever resolved under duress.
After-all, young people are very impressionable and look up to people of authority or stature. They need more of the leaders in this country to start setting a good example and help guide them down the right path in life.
Everyone comes to the point when they have to be the captain of their own ship and cannot blame anyone else if their ship sinks.
