‘YOU WON’T HAVE TO DO A THING’ ’09 ObamaCare claims haunt rollout:
We would think by now the politicians especially would be a little more deliberate about what they say and the commitments they make when the cameras and recorders are rolling.
WASHINGTON – The Obama administration’s confident claims back in 2009 and 2010 about the landmark health care overhaul are steadily returning to haunt them.
Thousands of Americans are getting notices from their insurance companies that their policies are being cancelled and now the statement Obama made to help sell his “pet project” to the citizens of the USA has come to bite him in the butt.
“Here’s a guarantee that I’ve made,” Obama says in the video. “If you have insurance that you like, then you will be able to keep that insurance.”
The proof is always in the pudding. It is time for Obama to back up his statements and rectify the multitude of discrepancies in his “Affordable health Care plan”. If in fact the inconsistencies cannot be corrected, then the plan should be scrapped as an issue that was presented and sold to the citizens of the USA under false pertinences. In the medical community it is called “Snake oil”.
Is there ever any accountability in DC? It has become a humongous joke that the words of a politician are just words and have no substance behind them.
I have said many times about the platform (or we can call it bull-shit) promises a politician makes when running for office. It should be mandatory for them to fulfill their commitments or their election should be reversed. How else is anyone supposed to evaluate a candidate they vote for but from what they say and how they present it?
