Civilian Casualties Afghanistan: Deadly Attacks Rise As International Forces Hand Over Security:
They are back to square one; maybe worse off than when we invaded their country.
I said it when the USA illegally invaded Iraq years back under the pretenses that they had weapons of mass destruction hidden, that it would be another Viet Nam and we would never win; now years later after thousands of causalities and trillions of dollars shot to hell for nothing, I am saying the same thing again; we can’t ever win. It was called a strategic withdrawal, in simple terms we ran away.
A report given by the Human Rights Director for the U.N. in Afghanistan, said the number of dead and injured civilians had increased by 23 percent in the first six months of 2013, compared to the same period last year.
I must see situations very different than the big boys in DC because to me it looks like we have regressed dramatically instead of progressing. It is all about MONEY and none of the politicians are willing to admit that they made a grave mistake. They are always pointing the finger at the other guy
A twenty-three percent increase; that is a significant number ladies and gents. Yet we continue to have tens of thousands of troops still stationed there trying to protect the people that don’t want us in their country. Does it make sense?
We can say with some degree of certainty that all of our blood shed, money and efforts have been for nothing. A lot of the big boys and the companies they are attached to made billions. Right Dick?
If this planet survives for another 500 years and I doubt it, the people in that part of the world will still be doing the same thing they have been doing for thousands of years; “killing each-other in the name of god”.
One more life that is lost and one more dollar spent in that “god forsaken” part of the world is too much.
This is how they settle their differences and disputes.
