Don’t bite the hand that feeds you

USA Today

Florida man who lost hand charged with feeding gator:

In the Florida Everglades an air-boat captain was putting on a little performance for his passengers by hanging a fish over the side of his boat to attract some alligators when a 9 footer jumped out of the water and bit the skippers hand off.
Not only did the 63-year-old Wallace Weatherholt lose his hand to the gator; the Collier courts was charged him with unlawful feeding of an alligator and later posted $1,000 bond.

Feeding alligators is considered a second-degree misdemeanor.

Talk about adding insult to injury; the magistrate takes the cake when it comes to being cold blooded. It is safe to say he is more cold blooded than the gator that chomped of Wally hand.

This poor guy is probably going to get more time in the slams for feeding the gators than Lorena Bottitt got for her handy work with a butcher knife.
