Bill Maher facing bipartisan criticism over Ann Romney remarks:
I am glad to see that the criticism is coming from both sides.
Some so-called celebrities become so full of themselves that they think they can insult whomever they want, whenever they want. There is a medical term for this type of condition, it is called “diarrhea of the mouth”.
Does anyone remember a guy named Rush?
Big Mouth Bill was recently one of Obama’s top advisers. I think the Mr. O should be a little more selective on whom he hangs around with; it doesn’t look good on the resume.
Be that as it may; what gives Maher the right to disrespect anyone’s wife? He certainly is allowed to think whatever he wants privately but he has no right expanding on the comment made by Hilary Rosen when she said Ann Romney “never worked a day in her life”. Ms. Rosen later apologized under pressure from top Democrats. I wonder if that initial comment was made out of jealousy or ignorance?
The out of control Maher’s follow up to Rosen’s low blow was “What she meant to say, I think, was that Ann Romney has never gotten her ass out of the house to work” . Get that Fels Naptha soap out.
I hope that all of the stay at home mothers in America do take offense to that statement and give Billy Boy the “Rush” treatment. No one likes to hear anything negative about their wife or mother.
Comments like that; whether they come from Democrats or Republicans are totally out of line.
This election has had more dirt and stones thrown at the opposition than any other I can remember in recent times. I guess that is part of the political system.
If all of that bad mouthing is necessary; guys leave the families out of it and be a little more careful whom you associate with; they may give you a bad name.
