22 Carnival cruise ship passengers robbed at gunpoint in Mexico:
The cruise line industry is taking a beating lately in more ways than one.
It isn’t bad enough that the “casual cruisers” have to worry about having Ptomaine Tilly serving their meals; they have to watch out for the captains of the liners with a bulge in their pants not doing his job; now they have to keep an eye out for pirates and bandits robbing them.
I think the liners are going to have to do a complete makeover if they want to stay in business. They can start by avoiding the ports that are potential threats to the passengers and hiring armed mercenaries to go along with the ship. If a few of these banditos have their brains blow out they “may” get the hint.
The only problem I see with the mercenaries; with all the free food and cheap booze available to them they may get completely out of wack and unable to do their jobs. One more thing; all the half-naked ladies sunning themselves may be a definite distraction to the pistol packing passengers.
Good luck cruise lines. It seems you have a lot of obstacles ahead of you.
Don’t forget to keep those sides of beef on the grill between 425 – 475 degrees. You will keep a lot of people that paid their hard earned money away from the rails.
Puckers; for the sake of the other passengers always try to heave off of the fan tail.
You have brought up a very great points , appreciate it for the post.
